About ReSTED 2018
The International Conference on Resilient Smart Technology, Environment and Design, ReSTED 2018 is one of the sub-conferences under the UKM's Integrated International Conference, UKM-IIC 2018. ReSTED 2018 combines both the Resilient and Regenerative Tropical Smart Building research project theme headed by Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) with the bi-annual International Conference on Sustainable Tropical Environmental Design, SusTED led by Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB), Universit Putra Malaysia (UPM).
This conference is jointly organized by SERI-UKM, FRSB-UPM, Asian Reflective Foil Association (ARFA), Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) Glasgow, Scotland, Centre for Advanced Research on Energy (CARE) Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTEM) and University of Reading Malaysia.
Publications

All extended abstract submitted to ReSTED 2018 will be double peer-reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee.

All accepted extended abstract of ReSTED 2018 will be published in the conference proceedings. Only selected extended abstracts will be invited and given a template to prepare full paper submission to a Special Edition Journal (Scopus Indexed).

The extended abstract will not be included in the conference proceedings unless one of the authors pay full registration fee as well as show up and present at the conference. Each PAID AUTHOR is entitled to present TWO extended abstracts only.

Aim of ReSTED 2018:
The aim of ReSTED 2018 is to provide a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners and postgraduate students from the domains of architecture, engineering, building science, design, urban and landscape design and other relevant disciplines to present their visionary research and practice that will contribute to the betterment of our environment and society.
